Welcome pack
Hello and welcome to Broadwater Tower (known affectionately as BWT).
You have made an astute choice in purchasing at, or moving into, BWT. It is a wonderful place to live. The
purpose of this welcome pack is to provide you with the relevant
information to help you move in to BWT seamlessly. It is also designed to
help you become a part of the BWT community by way of an open
invitation to BWT social events to meet your new neighbours and ensure that you do things in a way that will also ensure your neighbours are happy you are moving here too.
Some
of the regulations you will encounter will seem very strict but we
hope, after you hear the reasoning for them, that you will agree they
are necessary. There are over 100 people living here and we need to be aware of the needs of
each other. Moving in is a very small amount of time when compared with
the amount of time you will actually spend living here - please don't let that small amount of time adversely affect others. We hope that you
will assist us and ensure the process is as smooth and stress free for
all concerned as possible.
Steps you need to take before moving in:

Make yourself aware of the by-laws.
If you are thinking of doing a renovation before moving in (or after!), you must follow all procedures outlined here before doing so. Failure to do this may result in the renovation being stopped and extra costs incurred.
Organise the lift booking / pay the lift bond.
If you wish to keep a pet, submit a pet application
Ensure you are aware of the contractors who are very familiar with the building. Note that they are reasonably priced but we use them as our preferred contractors because they know the ins and outs of the building and will ensure you don’t end up with an even bigger problem. We strongly recommend you use these contractors but of course you have every right to choose your own.
If you have a boat and wish to use the mooring at Bayview Harbour Yacht Squadron, you have to contact them directly. The best person to contact is Sue Watson (07) 5537 1647 admin@bayview-harbour.com.au
